SESSION NOTES
Inside
Automation
Session one is done. The hour in nine slides: what was covered, the five live demo screens, three ways to work together, and every question the room asked.
The session in nine slides. Arrows or keyboard to move. Slide 3 opens the real demo screens; slide 4 asks which one you are and takes you to your page.
The hour in three lines
The first live sharing by Dean Lai, industrial automation engineer in Malaysia and founder of TGE Innovations Sdn Bhd. One hour on Google Meet, 17 September 2026. What was said, in three lines.
01What automation actually is
Sense, decide, act. Your air-con and a whole plant run the same loop, one of them at a thousand times the scale.
02How the money in it works
AI is the tool. The value is the bridge from OT to IT that turns data a plant already has into a work order someone acts on.
03Where the opportunity sits
Labour, energy and regulation keep pushing demand. Count the plants you can walk properly, not the size of the market.
What do you have?
A machine, customers, or time. Each one is a different way to work with me, and each starts with something you send.
- You have a machineOwner · maintenance · production. Detection points go on it, and I read the data for you. You get: A written read of that machine at day 30 and day 90.
- You have customersIntegrator · vendor · consultant. We split the job, and your name stays on it with your client. You get: A solution you can sell tomorrow without building it.
- You have timeEngineer · student · the curious. Four weeks: PLC, data out, one model, one work order. You get: One machine talking by week four, and a seat on the bench for the jobs above.
